In one week, Tehri, Alison, myself, and our significant others will transform the Silver Vines Winery in Arvada into the most environmental party we can muster. It’s been a hard year, but we managed to keep our wins large and our losses few in the cause to protect imperiled species and their habitats.
We think you should be there to celebrate those wins with us, since it is because of you that we succeed year after year! And after hearing what we have planned, we hope that you’ll want to.
We have rounded up the most awesome environmental silent auction in the Front Range with amazing packages for science nerds, adrenaline junkies, ski bums, those in a need of a staycation, those who want to explore all that Colorado has to offer, art fans, foodies, those who want to live a more sustainable lifestyle, and Colorado sports fans!
Maggie from Mezcla Maggie has put together a menu that will amaze, all with fun names too! The vegan and vegetarian tapas will leave you more than satisfied.
Silver Vines Winery is offering some of their award-winning wines! Registration gets you two free wine tickets. And really, it doesn’t matter which two you choose, it will be absolutely delightful!
Our wild trivia contest was such a hit last year, that we’re giving it another go! We’ve got all new wildlife and conservation questions, plus we’ve added fun audio questions! Winners will get an awesome bag of prizes, including passes to Comedy Works!
We heard your suggestions in last year’s exit survey, so we are doing away with the paddle raiser. We know it can be a super uncomfortable time, so we’re doing something else instead. Instead, we’re holding a wildlife adoption! Choose your animal with a dollar amount clearly listed, get your unselfie taken with a plush version of your species, and place your unselfie on our wall of adopters! Hopefully this won’t be as uncomfortable as the paddle raiser, but we do hope you’ll be as generous, so that we can help protect the species you choose!
We will also be bringing our campaigns with us so that you can take meaningful action to help protect species in our region – including our Endangered Species Act postcards – asking our representatives not to let anything happen to the ESA that protects so many of our species.
We would like to thank all of our sponsors who have made this night possible: Bruce Driver LLC, Geri & Meyer Saltzman, Hanssen Online, Hawaiian Cloud Forest Coffee, Raconteur Denver, Rich & Terri Slivka, Wealth Management Associates, Wester Resource Advocates, and Wildlife Protection Solutions. We couldn’t do this without you.
Be sure to register and join us next Thursday! It promises to be a great time, which will be made all the better with you there. Tickets are $50 for general admission in advance, $40 for members Supporting Level and above in advance, and $30 for students and young professionals (under age 35) in advance. Tickets are $60 at the door.
