The Colorado Environmental Film Festival (CEFF) is an exciting, inspiring, and energizing event screening world-class feature-length and short environmental films with representatives from local and national organization by foreign, local, and youth filmmakers. True to the spirit of Colorado, this event is supporting and attended by people who value the natural world and share a passion for the power and beauty of film.
This year, CEFF has asked us to host a film as part of their larger festival! Our film is “Cascade Crossroads,” a film on wildlife crossing structures!
“Cascade Crossroads” was the 2018 Winner of Gold and Bronze Telly Awards. A documentary film about building bridges, both literal and metaphorical, “Cascade Crossroads” chronicles the amazing story of seemingly opposite interests joining forces to restore a critical wildlife corridor while improving Washington State’s vital transportation corridor over the Cascade Mountains. Told in the varied voices of the people who worked across ideological, political, and geographical differences to set in motion the world’s largest wildlife project of its kind, “Cascade Crossroads” shows what can happen – for people and the environment – when we build bridges.
When: The festival will take place Thursday, February 21 through Saturday, February 23. “Cascade Crossroads” will play Friday, February 22, 4:00-6:00 pm at the Colorado Public Television Theater of the American Mountaineering Center (710 10th St, Golden, CO.)
Tickets: Tickets are available on the Colorado Environmental Film Festival website.
