Moving to a plant-based diet is one of the fastest and easiest ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect our biodiversity. This class will focus on the preparation and cooking of vegan meat alternatives including jackfruit, seitan, and tofu. Participants will learn about vegan foods, help prepare dishes, and enjoy a taco dinner with samples from each dish. You will go home with several easy recipes that will fit into your busy work week. Proceeds from the class will support efforts to protect wildlife habitat in Colorado.
