  • The Colorado Water Conservation Board is seeking a Science Researcher/Scientist III. This position is responsible for all studies, analyses, and investigations pertaining to ensuring that Colorado has an adequate water supply for its citizens and the environment.  This includes researching and identifying all current uses of water, future projected uses of water, and identification and evaluation of water development plans and concepts.  The unit manages and administers the Water Supply Reserve Account Grant and various Water Plan Grants: organizes Interbasin Compact Committee (IBCC) meetings; supports the nine basin roundtables; and oversees all technical and policy work relating to maintaining and updating the Colorado Water Plan. Salary is $6,322-8,000 monthly.   • Boulder County is seeking 12 Youth Corps Assistant Team Leaders. The Assistant Team Leader is a temporary, seasonal position with the Boulder County Youth Corps summer program. Assistant Team Leaders assist in supervising a team of up to 10 adolescents aged 14-17 at a variety of work sites for eight weeks and mentor the development of personal accomplishment, teamwork, and community service with their team members.   • National Young Farmers Coalition is seeking a part-time Colorado Organizer. The Organizer will collaborate with the five Young Farmers chapters in Colorado, at-large members, and the Western Campaigns Director to: organize farmers and ranchers around statewide advocacy efforts in support of producer-led, creative, inclusive, and equitable Young Farmers policy priorities; support chapter advocacy planning efforts, plan grassroots actions, and conduct outreach to increase member participation and support chapter growth. The Organizer will report to our Western Campaigns Director (based in Denver) and be supported by our state policy and organizing teams and by our National Chapter Manager. The Organizer will be remotely based in a farming and/or ranching region within Colorado, ideally on the Western Slope, with regular travel throughout the state. Hourly compensation is $21/hour.
